We are looking for a RAN Designer to integrate Huawei VAP into a Ericsson RAN.
Goal of the project is to integrate IP-backhaul-based Huwaei uBro femtocell solution into Vodafone's Ericsson-only network
The goal of this project is to integrate IP-backhaul-based Huwaei uBro femtocell solution into Vodafone's Ericsson-only network. It consists of the following steps:
- prepare a high-level and low-level design
- prepare and support test analysis for integration testing in controlled lab environment
- integrate Huawei's uBRO solution into the live network
- conduct limited trial (10* devices)
- conduct Friendly-User Trial
- prepare design for network-wide mass delivery
We expect the RDE to work stand alone on a High Level Design (HLD), High Level Project Plan (HLPP) and Test Plan followed by integrating and implementing the Huawei VAP into the Ericsson RAN. |

The following skills are expected from the RAN design engineer:
Must have requirements:
- Profound 2G and 3G RAN design knowlegde
- Profound knowdlegde of 2G/3G handover and reselection parameters
- Ability to write high level designs, test plans and project plans (english)
- Experience with Ericsson RAN
Nice to have requirements:
- Experience in working with measurement tools (TEMS investigation)
- Familiar with Ericsson way of working (PROPS-C, KAM principle, ELS, FO/BO split)
- Language skills: English (dutch is not needed).
